Presenoldeb a Phrydlondeb

Rydym yn disgwyl i bob plentyn fynychu'r ysgol yn rheolaidd ac yn brydlon. Gall
hyd yn oed absenoldeb byr amharu ar eu haddysg. Peidiwch â chadw eich plentyn
o'r ysgol oni bai am salwch neu argyfwng teuluol. Mae disgwyl i chwi gysylltu â'r
ysgol ar y diwrnod cyntaf o salwch. Mae'n rhaid i ysgolion gofrestru absenoldeb
disgyblion yn ôl y categorïau / amgylchiadau canlynol:
1) Rheswm teilwng dros absenoldeb
2) Dim esboniad dros absenoldeb disgybl
3) Cyrraedd yr ysgol yn hwyr

Rydym yn disgwyl bod y disgyblion yn cyrraedd yr ysgol yn brydlon. Mae hyn yn bwysig iawn i ddatblygiad addysgol yr unigolyn ac i drefniant yr ystafell ddosbarth a'r ysgol. Bydd gofal am y plant yn dechrau am 8:40 y bore. Cyn hyn mae clwb brecwast ar agor o 7:45 - 8:40 y bore.

Rydym yn dosbarthu manylion ynglyn â gweithgareddau, diwrnodau hyfforddiant a
gwyliau ar ddechrau pob tymor. Ni fydd y pennaeth yn awdurdodi gwyliau yn ystod
amser ysgol. Mae gennym Swyddog Lles a Phresenoldeb (Mr Heddwyn Daniel) yn yr ysgol ac os fydd canran presenoldeb eich plentyn yn peri gofid i ni fel ysgol, yna byddwn yn trefnu apwyntiad er mwyn i ni drafod a cheisio datrys y broblem. Gallwch gysylltu
â Mr Daniel ar rif ffôn yr ysgol neu trwy e-bostio heddwyn.daniel@swanseaedunet.
gov.uk. Ar ôl hyn os ni fydd y sefyllfa'n gwella yna trosglwyddir y sefyllfa i
Swyddog Lles y Sir, Ms Lisa Lewis.

Attendance and Punctuality

We expect all children to attend school regularly and punctually. Even a short
absence can impair on their learning. Except for illness or a family emergency,
please ensure your child attends school. On the first day of illness you are required
to contact the school to inform of your child’s absence. The school must record a
pupil’s absence as either:
1) A valid reason for absence
2) No explanation for the child’s absence (non authorised)
3) Late attendance

We expect children to arrive at school punctually as this is vital for your child’s educational development and for the school and classroom organisation. All pupils
are supervised from 8:40 in the morning. Prior to this, the school’s breakfast club is open every morning from 7:45 - 8:40.

Details of holidays, activities and training days are distributed to parents at the
beginning of each term . The Headteacher will not authorise holidays during term
time. At the school we have a Welfare and Attendance Officer (Mr Heddwyn Daniel)
and if at any time your child’s attendance is of a concern to us as a school, we will
contact you to arrange an appointment to discuss and try to resolve the issue. You
may contact Mr Daniel on the school’s telephone number or via e-mail -
danielh@hwbmail.net If the situation does not improve after
the initial appointment then it will be directed to the County’s Welfare Officer, Mr Jonathan Martin.
